‍    May 1st was Mother Goose Day. I think it got lost in the hullabaloo over May the 4th be with you and Cinco de Mayo on the 5th. At any rate, this is the only thing I could think of for a flying lady bug, other than one acting as a crane. Some of my group thought this was a bit macabre, but the early fairy tales were often scary to teach a lesson. I wonder what the moral of this story was?

‍    The book/magazine is a mockup from AdobeStock, the lady bug from PixelSquid, Mother Goose drawing & the mushroom house scene (I replaced the sky with one of mine by using PhotoShop) from Adobe Stock. The flames were rendered in PS, the smoke is from a brush set I found years ago. The book endpaper is from PhotoshopRoadmap, the paper texture from paper texture from Letterform. The rosemary design on the page beyond the poem is from AdobeStock with a mushroom (just out of sight) from PixelSquid. I added a hardcover under the pages to make it look more like a story book.

‍    Take care and stay well.
